For a while now I’ve been trying to figure out good techniques for drawing fish in Illustrator on the pretense of creating artwork that can be enlarged or reduce easily - but now that I think about it, I’m probably just sub-consciously trying to imbue myself with the spirits of my quarry... like Bigfoot does.

I don’t know if I made any headway in either endeavor, but I do know the time to move on has arrived (I have other projects taking up all my spare time - PM if you are into cartoon chickens!)

Anyhow, below is my last attempt. I tend to dream big and I know that one day if I remain diligent, fish hard and put my faith in the power of the Living Sasquatch, I just might cross paths with this leviathan barred perch... some day.

As always, I am interested in your most honest, frank, blunt, brutal, insulting, hostile, venomous, vitriolic, assessments :).

It looks awesome, I'd like to see you do other species as well: Yellowtail, Calico Bass, LMB, dodo, etc.

As I mentioned, I'm working on drawing chickens at the present time... will probably get back to fish over the summer.

What's "paint?" Also, that is a PIG perch!!! Whoever nailed that monster is obviously in touch with their inner Bigfoot! ;)
