Well Paul wanted to get out to DVL with me really badly since he caught that DONKEY with me about 3 weeks ago. So he set up a trip for yesterday.
Paul knew it was gonna be cold but he didnt care because he has been bitten by the bass bug and I have him officially HOOKED on bass fishing again. :Big Grin:
The forecast called for RAIN AND WIND..... but we didnt care. We showed up at DVL and the skys looked like they were about to explode in rain and there were only like 4-5 boats there, including mine!!:Envious:
We definetly arent fair weather fisherman so off we went....
Paul brought his buddy Ernie to join in on the fun.
Ernie has never caught a bass so he wanted to come catch a few.
We got rained on most of the day....the wind HOWLED most of the day but that didnt stop us from putting OVER 27 bass in the boat...
Erinie was able to catch his 1st bass and follow it up by a few more...
Paul caught 15 bass, got snapped off by a GIANT BASS missed 4 bites and lost 2 others.
I caught 9 bass but I didnt fish much because I was busy helping them and keeping the boat steady in the howling wind. I fished for maybe an hour or so..
Paul caught the big bass of the day...6 lbs!!!:Envious: and he had a solid 5 lber to go with it...
He caught a few others in the 4 lb range.
My biggest was 5 lbs even..
Good job out there again Paul and congrats to Ernie for catching his 1st bass ever and a few more as well...
