After the rain came and the skies startd to clear I got ahold of Steve to see if he wanted to hit up NPH for some spottie action, seems it did not take much for him to say he was on his way. We arrived around 1600 to mostly clear skies with gusty northwest winds. Oh well, the fish dont care about the wind, just need to step up the casting accuracy.
We started working one of our usual spots and steve went bendo.

We worked that area pretty hard and I think we ended up 3-3 there. We made a short move to a spot where Steve was hoping t get a legal flattie. I think on his second or third cast he was bendo.

Nope, not this time, I think it was 19 .
Steve got another short very soon after that. and worked away from him and was out of sight for a few so to say. I worked back up to him to see him bendo in a little spottie and a release and before I got to him he casted again and was bendo again on another little spottie. When I got to his location there was a little boy and girl with their grandpa watching him, the little girl said to me "you should watch that guy, he is a pro!" I chuckled and said "Yeah I know" and she asked what his record was? I said "well you see, it is the same fish everytime."
He ended up with 4 spots there and I got a little dink sandy and we then we made another move.
The wind was really howling after we made our move and we were not sheltered and casting was getting tough with the low light, but we stuck it out till about 2000. I think I got two more spots and a 20 short hali and I dont remember if Steve got anymore.
Thanks for the company Steve!
