I think he's referring to the tube and kayak section here on the board.

I'll help you out since you already made the thread.

Best waders you can get for this amount of money:
http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_90615____SearchResults
You can't beat them and they are on sale right now for $100.00 normally $150.00. They have reinforced rear area and they look good! Very comfortable indeed, I love them.

Tube here is another that is on sale and I have had nothing but the best to say about this thing using it in both the salt and the fresh:
http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0076452321283a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&No=18&Ntk=Products&QueryText=float+tube&sort=all&Go.y=0&N=0&Nty=1&hasJS=true&_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1&_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/search/search-box.jsp.form23&Go.x=0

This thing has a seat just like the FishCat4 on the bottom but not the back rest. It keeps you sitting pretty high outta the water and it handles everything just fine. I also have the FishCat4 and it's a great tube but for the money I would buy the Togiak, I also use it exclusively now and the FishCat4 just sits in my garage collecting dust.

As far as fins go you can get anything that works really but if you want the best get the Force Fins. They are spendy but worth it in the end. Other fins will work just fine as well though and if I were you I would spend more money on my Waders and Tube then everything else. Hope this helps a bit.

It is going to be very crowded because of the Float Tube Derby on Saturday, so it would be a good idea to go a different day instead.

You can hit up other place other then BPS.. I've seen float tubes at Big 5, Sports Chalet, Sports Authority and Dick's.. Also look online for them.. It's always cheaper to buy online..

You will enjoy fishing from a tube, mine has served me well. I wouldn't let Fireball discourage you from fishing the Lagoon Saturday, a derby will be going on, there is only about 30- 40 entries normally, the Lagoon can handle many more.

Also, the Lagoon is the most float tuber friendly lake around, easy launching, bathrooms accessible on both sides of the lake, no motorized boats, only electric motors which generally equals less boats.

Go out there and out fish the derby guys. Make sure you have a life vest, whistle, sun screen, and a granola bar or something to snack on if you get hungry. Also, be conscious of weather conditions, If the wind picks up, might be a good time to head closer to your launch area.

If I see you out there, i'll see how your doing, and feel free to ask me any questions. I have a green Super Fat Cat, with a fish finder and rod holder.

Good luck, it's a great way to meet good people.

Thanks, I might be able to get away with fishing a couple hours to at least try it out. If you see a new guy with a yellow tube thats me.
