6.9 Earthquake in Mexicali

More rolling and long than violent and fast. Some random items fell down around my place, but everybody is good.

My prayers to whoever was badly affected, and may God help them on this holy day.

I didnt feel it. I was moving my truck to a parking spot closer and just heard the radio saying that their station was still shaking.

A bunch of water sloshed out of the pool, and the water continued moving for about 10 minutes after the quake subsided. Time to refill the pool!

I was fishing at corona lake, and this wave hit the shore like a boat had gone by.I was trippin out because it wasnt a boat.The guy next to me told me his wife called him and said it was an earthquake.WHOA

WOW we were at the movies watching Clash of the titans and as Crakin came out the water the seats started to shake, i thought it was the man sitting behind me pushing the seat i turned back to give a look like hey dude , i saw half of the theater up and heading towards the exits LOL. My wife asked if that's me shaking the seat i said No were having an earthquake.
Hope our neighbors are doing ok down in BAJA MEXICO.

I was at church tonight on this beautiful Easter Sunday and we all said a prayer for the families that may have been seriously affected by the earthquake. Hopefully, things turn out OK for all the people in Mexicali and the surrounding cities.

I was in NPH at the Opal public dock. Dock was really shaking like a boat passed by but worse. Didn't realize it was an earthquake since all the people walking by didn't even flinch.

I have not felt the last 2 eathquakes. The one at 4am, i was in a deep sleep and today's i was in my truck parking it closer to the shop. I knew there was an earthquake as it was occuring since the guy on the radio stated it was still shaking in culver city 106.7 station. I was in Santa Monica.

I was at the park with the entire family...aunts, uncles, cousins, and so on. I was standing around chit chattin' when I felt myself swaying back and forth. I turned to see the lamp posts also moving. Crazy!

It was pretty crazy. I was at the pad bbqing for the family and I started feeling alittle dizzy. I was like WTF, ive only had like half a beer, am I drunk already??? And then I look over towards my brother-in-law and I see the background just moving like a wave, a slow rocking movement. I didnt panic cause we were already outside so I kept throwing meat on the grill. Fun easter day.
