went with tshaffer on his boat to do a little fishing. we first tried a spot that we had gotten some nice reds at before. that didn't pan out so we followed the moo-moos and got into a steady pick of reds and assorted rockfish on the jax jig and strips of squid. after we filled up the hold with dinner we tried a "sneaky spot" that produced three good sized cabezon on swimbaits. great day out there-the rockfish are biting.

looks like great weather, i am jealous of the trip. I have been so focussed on trout season that i havent been ocean fishing lately. I am ready now though and this report helped me lol. nice job on the catch's

ya. plastics are a must have....and sunscreen is not. haha
we were fishing by the victory, didnt see you though. tshaffer's boat is just like the rubber ducky too...lol.
