I had a few questions regarding Kayak fishing mostly for my own knowledge and possibly for future attempts.

1) Big hammers: what colors but most importantly what size lead heads and color?

2) With the use of scents, take for example "calico cocktail", does that limit you to bass only when you apply it to soft baits or will other fish find that irresistable as well?

3) Any other helpful information would help, I am drawing blanks at the moment and can't think of anymore questions.

BH colors, i like chartreuse, halloween, bay smelt, bleeding mackerel, green smelt, and green hitch. I usually fish the 4" size with 1/2 oz red lead head. Ive never really used scents on my bait.
