Float Tubed Lopez on 3/29

Took my tube out for the 2nd time.... this time I caught two fish near the bridge by the entrance in some weeds... saw a few more caught and heard one guy get a 10 pounder in that area. Caught both of mine on a silver minnow rapala cd-07... I think... in about 10 feet of water at about 60 degrees.

I just need to figure out a way to straighten my accessories.... The float tube seems to collapse towards the middle when I sit in it.... I'm only 180 pounds too.... more engineering needed I guess

nice report and pics.make sure you put enough air in your tube,it looks a lil low.left side bladder looks good,but your right side shouldnt have that much slack in it.keep it tight.

I believe it. I seen a few deer on pch while driving up to the landing. Thinking to myself this must be a sign of good luck. Well we nailed alot of yellowtail, and I landed my personal best.

Thanks... more air huh.... depends on rain in the morning... I'll try that if I can... thanks... it is a nice big lake... that is just one tiny little part of it... transducer was an idea from somewhere... Cut a piece of PVC pipe and then moved it so that it swiveled with a cotter pin

Nice 5 lber. It looks like your tube isn't inflated enough. You are going to want to inflate it a lot, especially since the air condenses in it if the air or water is cold. How do you like the ODC 420 otherwise?

Cool one of my favorite past time lakes. Great job. Do not float tube no more but it was always a blast. A great way to stealth fish. Has there been any smallies around use to get them a lot at Lopez 80's.

I've caught some smallies around the dam when I would rent a boat and some areas around the rocks on the back side of the lake...

Now that is some nice healthy looking bass compared to the ***** i caught at some local pond !! lol
