Decided to head over to San Onofre again for some bottom fishing. I arrived at 6:00 and it was a chilly 48 degrees with an off shore breeze.
To my dismay, there were already a bunch of surfers out in the water, those guys are nuts!
I got all set up and was throwing my line in the water at 6:20.

It was about 8:00 when I finaly got my first bite,

A little leopard shark, not even 14 inches. These would be the catch of the day,

I ended up with 6 of these until this little dude showed up at around 1:00,

A small sand shark.
Nothing else was caught, even though I switched up the bait and tried different sizes of it.
I did throw out the LC in Rainbow Sardine, for about an hour, at the incoming high tide in the evening. But nothing
Got rousted by the DFG when I was at least 50 feet out in the surf at low tide. They checked my credentials and said nothing. I noticed them heading South and drove directly by some other fisherman not 200 hundred yards from me...HMMMMMM!!
Oh well, I enjoyed myself and relaxed on the beach from sun up till sun down!
Take Care All & God Bless,
Robert
