I'm tired, so I'm gonna make this short.

Went to casitas around 4. Stopped at Mayfly cove (being renamed to mosquito cove). Something sucked it in on the first cast, but I missed it....then nothing for 30 mins. Windy with muddy water. Threw on margarita Robo and moved east to clearer waters.

Landed 3, all between 1~2 lbs. Bought a new digi scale, and I think its off. They felt like 2~3 lbers. Best fights too. Had to wrangle 2 of them out of brush. GREAT fights. Forgot to take a picture of the first one since I was SOO into figuring out how my scale worked.

Found an AWESOME cove that I am keeping secret. Sorry guys.

Decided to head back to mosquito cove to try and get those trout hunters again. Talked to some dude that had JUST caught a 10+ lber. I saw the pic, it was nice.

I decided to throw the 6" Castaic Swimbait. Had 2 or 3 takers but they didnt bite hard enough to get it all the way in their mouths.

Then...the mosquitoes came. Thousands...no, MILLIONS of them. From 10 ' away it sounded like a carpenter bee was in my ear. I got tore the fudge up...I had to go food shopping anyway. I am going on a dawn mission and sunset mission tomorrow.

Nice job and those moquitos were every where. The bass are definetly chasing the trout especially if they get near their bed.
