Lazy Spots 3/24/10

Me and Tess were in the mood for a little spottie fishing today, so we geared up and arrived at the spot at around 1500. Weather was pretty warm, so we didn't know what to expect. Not too many bites, but we caught a few nice models today. Don't know if it was because of the warm weather this afternoon, but a lot of the fish did not want to put up a fight today. :Confused:

As the sun went down we expected the bite to pick up, but it didn't happen. Instead the wind started to pickup and clouds began to roll in, so we started working our way back.

It was so windy, I barely felt this guy pickup my swimmie. My first Spotfin. :Big Grin:

With strong winds blowing, Tesserz got herself wrapped up onto a dock when this spottie slammed her swimmie. She displayed some mad ninja skills to land the last fish of the night. :LOL:

Headed home at around 1930. Bite was pretty slow overall, but we both caught our fair share of fish. I hope the bite gets better by this weekend. :Wink:

edit: I was fishing the public dock by the Jetty, didn't really know anywhere else to go

Hey so where do you get those thumb guards. Bass thumb is pretty sexy to my to my girl but kinda stings when a bigger fish shakes lol.
