What is up FNN and Team 57?

I decided that I would try and start the fishing season off with a Big Bang! I treated myself to the Calico Bass Seminar Luncheon at the Fred Hall Show to find out if I have the right equpiment, boat, and techinques. The SWBA Guys and gal shared knowledge, food, and gave us a goodie bag.

Then I went immediately to the Team 57 Booth and met the Team 57 Shortie. Shortie was cool!

Then I went to my Doctor to get my Scop cuz a Brotha gets Bad Motion from the Ocean.

This past weekend, I got the boat out. Then launched out of Long Beach with my bro Kevthecatfishstudent on my Glastron.

First and maybe final trip outside the Harbor.

Even though I was equipped with the 7 Inch Jerk Shads, we decided to get some Live Bait.
This old dude came rollin' out trying to intimidate Santa Fe!

That was all she wrote! Hours out on the water and not a nibble to show:Skunk: for it. Eventually, the motion got to me and I gunned it back in with my tail between my legs. Until the next time! Have a great week!

Santa Fe, sorry to hear about the skunk. You could try for calicos just outside of NPH and if you get too sick you can always head towards calmer waters and fish for the spotties. It's nice to see a report from you.

I appreciate that Jaysuuun! I've had a lot of things going on away from fishing, but am prepared to hit it hard as the water warms and throughout the Summer. More reports coming!

Santa Fe what time did you fish? That area usually produces for me but a lot of it has to do with time of day. Earlier the start the better. You'll get them next time

Eric!

It's good to see you hitting the salt again! The more you go out, the less and less sick you will be!

See you around and give my regards to Kev!

It was nice meeting you up at Piru last weekend. Perseverence always pays dividends bro. What is it with brothers and seasickness?

Me and my buddy launched out yesterday at off the same harbor that you launched out of and we hammered about 40 calicos, sandies, and spotties all over inshore yesterday. We're both still newbies but I can tell you that they're there and you just have to pull them out from hiding in between all of the structures. Let me know if you want to go together sometime.

Eric,

Glad to see you get out again in that beauty of a ride!!

Don't worry, sometimes experiments do not always turn out as planned!

Look forward to seeing you out in our harbor!
