First Cast

Arrived a little late to Malibu (7-7.30am) for a short session today, but will
hit it for a little longer tomorrow.
3-5 ft. foot pounders where the usual go to spot is, so figured Halibut was
not practical :Rolls Eyes: Scaning the water therefore for some decent perch holding
structure, happen to see a decent trench, and waited for the waves to subside
a little after the bigger sets !!! See- in it in calmer water was thinking,aauuuhhh !!! :Big Grin:
this is gonna be a good one !!! Sometimes (not often) you just get that instinctual
knowing that your gonna STICK ONE !!! ON THE FIRST CAST :LOL::LOL: SLAM !!!
Super Bendo :Shocked: Pulled me left for about ten yards :Shocked: Waited for the incoming, and there
it is, on the sand :Smile: FAT sucker too !!! :LOL:
One more after that, and soon left the area.

Very Nice FS,
I have yet to pull one up on the first cast, from shore, of any species!
I'm right there with Arhtur this weekend ( except further South ).
