Just wondering, because I may want to purchase some soon so I won't have to fashion myself inefficient rod holders every time I go fishing. >_>

I buy PVC tubes, and cut one end at 45º and then use that edge to stick it into the ground.

make your own. Home Depot- fence post(whatever height), abs pipe, a scrap strip of metal, and some nuts-n-bolts. pooof!!!! six bucks later you have rod holders.

Homemade ones? Hm, maybe I'll give that a serious consideration. xD

Screw walmart!!!!!!! Yeah you may save a few bucks there but you should really support your local tackle shops!!!

Hey hey, I'll look into everywhere so I can see many selections and get to know which one fits my taste.

P.S. I think I might need to craft out a homemade rod holder (using a 2-3 in diameter PVC pipe) for my two Zebco rod-and-reel combos , they cannot fit into the standard rod holders, thanks to its ribbed handle. =\
