It's better if you make your own you get better range plus the fishing buddy is garbage. I've made a lot for people they are easy, I use a Garman I run it all day and the 8 AA's run for two days.

I would have to disagree. I have the Fishin Buddy 120 and it works great. It lasts very long on 6 AA batteries too. A lot longer than two trips.

I agree had a fish buddy garbage I made my own out of a lawrance X135 got it on sale at BPS 200 BUCKS I love it.
