went out for only a couple hours today with my girlfriend..tried dam part and walked back to where the baseball field is..some guys were catchin trout on lures and some powerbait..i had no luck but they are out there somewhere..haha was a beautiful day to get out though..if that lake didnt have so much stuff on the bottom it would be an excellent lake..havent stocked for a while too..i think they start back memorial day weekend? not sure but either way its a nice lil lake. take care

Yea the manger put two 14's in there from what I understood and only one was caught.

The lake is about 95% frozen still - there's only a little bit of water showing by the inlet in the beach area (no fishing allowed in that area). Should still open in the middle of May for the season.

The baseball field is the spot or right in front of the docks. I have caught a few toads outta Gregory and I have caught millions of the DFG fish. Orange powerworms is the ticket thrown as far as you can from the parking lot side of the baseball field back towards the boat docks. White is also your friend at Gregory. I have seen more then 10 fish over 7lbs come out though in front of the boat docks. Those big fish like to hang out over there I guess.

GVL is my spot, manager is a cool hombre.
