A.M. low tide at 7:00. Started fishing at 6:30. Perfect weather but tougher than usual swells with a bit of a northbound current. Made contact with my only solid bite at 8AM on this 25 incher. . .

. . . . quickly released.

Funny thing today. . . at around 9AM when I was about to leave, I was reacquainted with one of my swim baits that I was throwing last weekend! It broke off when it, I'm assuming, got stuck on some immobile sea salad last Saturday. I can't imagine how many other people in the last week were throwing 3 inch keylime Big Hammer swimbait with a yellow lead-head and red eyes! Coincidence? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. . .

Another BEAUTIFUL morning in the LBC.
