Was just at Fairmount past 3 days, (won't be fishing the tourney, don't worry) and here are the hot baits and colors that I got some nice bass on:
Green Pumpkin ................... rigged wacky
Black/blue......................... in the 1/4 oz size
Watermelon Bluegill......................... used on a 1/8 oz shaky head jig
Also you might try a ..................in Sexy Shad
I'm sure this will really help those fishing to win.
Ha-ha! But seriously, the colors above are good Fairmount colors. I can't tell what I use, though I think everyone knows what I used to use. ( I have a new bait that is even better) I hope everyone has a good time and I hope someone gets a big one! Hey watch out for those big carp! They are spawning in the shallows-going crazy chasing each other and splashing! Don't snag a big one like I did!...31"
