Caught 2 lost 3 in about 4 hours of fishing.
2 of the 5 fights were from bedding fish. It seems the action is heating up. There are tons of carp swimming around and it was pretty cool to see little 2 lb bass chase away 20 lb carp from their nests. I was thinking about making a carp swim bait to catch bedding bass. Through the trout swim bait for no love for the first 1.5 hours, they stocked the lake the day prior with 10K of trout.
On another note, my brother wants to go fishing tomorrow with me, he is pretty new to the game and it seems the Lake Casitas bass are pretty freaking stingy when it comes to biting, I feel like Piru might be a better bet for a noobie. Anyone want to offer some advice, we will be fishing from shore.
