We cant tell the future and you NEVER know whats gonna bite, but yeah. It shoudl be a good trip. They are catching bonito right now and mixed island species. Should be around the same with maybe a yellowtail or two showing up.

Its a great boat. If you can get out during the week the load should not be too bad. April the wsb and yellows should start picking up as the water starts warming. You will be picking away at the bass and bonito most likely.

cool, i think i am going to wait till april 7. Do you catch the bonita with the bait that they give you there or with what?because the last times that i gone havent been so good on the bonita.

You can flyline a sardine or throw some iron. Others here will tell you other methods that they have had success as well.

on sumer time i go often and its a good boat and it has a good crew mostly gus (deckhand) and big dany(the cook) and jhon the (captin).......and yes u can kill the bonitos on live sardins but if its wide open try to cast some surface irons o megabaits so you dont waist time changeing bait.......oh and if you want to safe ur self some money and have chance to fish on a weekday u can go on wendsday captin special 4 only $45 instead of $65........and by april it will be ok water is warming up and there are being wsb in catalina with some private boats getting limits
