Trout bite on fire at belvedere park

I went to belvedere park lastnite to throw some crawlers that have been my fridge for
a minute, man those things live forever..so when i got there i noticed there were alot
of anglers..and after a minute or two i saw a few trout caught...anyways...
they wouldnt touch my crawlers that night so i woke up this morning at 630 and was
there by 645...i started fishing garlic and chunky cheese with 18" of leader and 4lb...
.lost to many on 2lb... so the sun started to rise and i got short bit about 4 times..
man i was gettin punked for the first hour

then finally i hooked one up...small little guy,i was looking for a empty cup to pour some
garlic trout bait in it so i could dip my bait and not contaminate my jar...so i looked in the
trash can and found a dollar bill....nice,, hope thats lucky for fishing,

so i continued fishing and casted out and hooked another in about 20mins same size....
after a few more small fish i started to wonder if there were any chunky trout in here...
i also noticed that there was only 3 comorants which was nice for a change.....i continued
to fish till noon for a total of 8 trout....3 i kept and 5 i gave to other anglers that wernt so lucky
....on my last fish i was winding up my gear to re bait and it hit.....fought good...
it came up to the shore and it looked silver and long...

i wasnt sure and still am not if its a trout or i thought it was a steelhead cuz it had no
color or spots and its eye was really big... after i got home i gutted them and the
one that looked like a sucked up aqua duct striper had a big green piece of plastic swimbait in its gut...
mabye thats why hes so skinny and long....trout were great eating and i plan to hit it up
in the pm tonight....fishbones

What a fine sunny day you had. Dang! found a dollar and hooked some nice fish to eat, can't beat that. And I see you even had the famed Big Game Hunter cigarette pack measuring instrument with you too.

Fishbones, where can I get that Berkley trout dip? I have some of that Berkly trout scent in the smaller bottle and I havent noticed a difference in the number of strikes, etc.
