captain skunked again

got up this morning and drove to the spot with my buddies chad and matt, got out there around 8:00 cast out and with in 2 minutes chad hooked up with a nice bass. We were sure it was a good sign for the events to come. They were off that oxblood drop shot. I started out on the drop shot for about an hour and a half with no love. Chad had hooked up again and landed another nice one and matt hooked up twice but couldn land them and got broken off twice when the fish was within 5 feet. So i was gettin pissed thinkin about the skunk again so i threw on a chrome and blue crankbait tossed it out and within 2 cranks hooked up with a nice bass. We caught 8 total but it would have been 2 but matt and i both got sawed off twice... all and all it was a good morning of fishin at our spot and my fishin spirits have been replenished
