I've heard from 1 source that earthquakes ruin fishing for the length of that particular day. I woke up at 4, and shortly after there was a 4.4 earthquake at pico rivera.
Now I don't know what to do.

I hear that earthquakes can be up to 10,000 times louder in water than land.
Any input/experience on this?
Im planning on hitting up SARL, but don't know if 22 bucks is going to be worth it if the bite is dead from an earthquake...

Don't let a little 4.4 Earthquake stop you from going fishing and enjoying a nice spring day . I went to Corona yesterday . Got float tube ? LOL!!!

I caught my 89 pounder the night after less than 24 hours after an earthquake. Go for it!

Wow--interesting theory. Just out of curiosity, I checked it out (gotta love Google!):

Based on the pitifully small amount of information I found, I say GO FISHING!!!!:Fishing Hole:

I was contemplating the same thing fishbones. I was suppose to take my pops rockfishing and the earthquake woke me up. I thought about not going because everyone says after an earthquake fishing is bad. Mann....were they wrong. Best rockfishing day I ever had in socal. There were gaint reds and gaint barberpoles. Here is a picture of my pops and some gaint reds we had on earthquake day. The picture does not do them just.

i was at big bear lake the day after the big quake up there. i think it was 94 or 95. the fishing was great, and i talked to people that were there the day of the quake, and they said the fish were jumping all over the lake like something they have never seen before, and the fishing was great. my theory has been it makes the fishing better. we had tremmors at our campsite almost every day we were there, and we slayed the trout. but we did only fish at night.
