Fished the Spitfire 3/14 for some local action since last trip was cut short. My buddy RJ (BBFC recruit) and I got to MDR around 6am with only one other person waiting. Spitfire pulled up around 6:20 and we where off by 6:30am. Craig was on the wheelhouse this time.
We went about 7-8 miles out to try for some sculpin. First few stops fish wouldn't cooperate but it was slim picking. it was a good bite for a few of us on the 3rd stop. i managed by limit pretty quick and started filling other peoples sacks.
'After the bite died we moved to deeper waters to try for some rockfishing. it was pretty slow on some rockfish. Still managed a limit on belindas with a salmon grouper on the side.
RJ - 5 Sculpin 3 rockfish
Me - 10 Sculpin 15 Rockfish (KEPT 5 SCULPIN 10 ROCKFISH) Gave the rest away
