If you're getting bit that well on 4#, imagine the bites you'll get on 2#....

its not so much a matter of the fish seeing the line ( sometimes it is) but its the action you can get on a bait. if you just bait and waiting then all u need is 2lb leader or 4lb floro if you feel like your going to get into some bigger fish. but if you really want 4lb floro try the seaguar or p-line.

Logic would state that the smaller the diameter the harder it is to see, draw your own conclusions..

Angry ... I was thinking that if fluro was harder to see ... maybe I could try some 4# in case I hook into a larger one. I lost a few on the shore of Bridgeport because of using 2# and being hit.

Definitely use at least 4lb in a big fish lake like Bridgeport. The times I've fished it the water wasn't that clear anyway.

I casted better with Berkely (4#) "Vanish" Flourocarbon than with monofilament. I got some good hits. Does anyone think it is worth it to use 4# "Fireline Crystal" for still fishing? How about for boat (not trolling)?

Yeah, It worked well for me in Feb @ Irvine Lake. I just put on some 8# on my Pfluger spool because I'm going up to Big Bear at the end of May for that two day tournament. Copper works well up there they say.

Where I was going with this was to question whether one could substitute 4# fluro for 2# regular because of it's diameter and the fact that it was less visible and be just as well off as having regular 2#? Is 4# fluoro still bigger than regular 2# ... and still more visible than regular 2#???

Seems some couldn't get where I was going ...
