Spoon! Thanks for the report. My wife and I just started fly fishing for trout at skinner and the Santa Ana, though I do hit up a park lake during the week for Bass and would love to try and fly fish for them.
What weight/length rod would you recommend, also what line type were you using? Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.

Ummmm....... jbcaplette im so new to this Bass fishing. Im flattered that ur asking me about the how too's. First im using a Falcon buu coo rod 7'6' MH fast paired with a shimano 201e7 ccurado with 8# floro. I was fly lining a Roboworm Ox-Blood color. My buddy "fishintime" is the pro not me. LOL try to pm him. I went to bass Pro shop about a dozen times before i got my new bass set up. They are sooooooo friendly there, give them a holler.
Good luck

My bad, I keyed in on the word "fly line" so I thought you were actually fly fishing for bass. Thanks again for the reply!

You want to use a wf-7-f with some wooly buggers for the bass.
Good Luck
