Back out there for my second trip of the season. Once again it was COLD this morning, i was out there at opening and it was in the mid 30's . This time took a buddy out with me but we fished apart most of the morning. Walking the shoreline and saw A LOT of boaters sight fishing but i didnt see ANY fish. I really dont sight fish unless i come across big momma but even that case its not that fun to me. Got my first one about 45 minutes into the morning in about 6-7 ft of water. Then nothing for about 30 minutes and headed over to a spot i havent been to in a year or so from shore. I figured since it has been cold with this front that came through i knew the fish would be deeper. Got 3 more fish in about 1 hr span all about 12-15 ft, two of them hit on the sink which was exciting. Honestly it was tough fishing i got 4 bites and got 4 fish. My buddy got 1 towards the end of the day fishing a sunken tree. A group of 3 guys were also fishing the shore they got like 3 fish and 1 spit the hook so we were in an active area.
