First Post of the Year
Well i just got done with my final graveyard shift for the month and had the itch to get the lines wet for the first time this year. I arrived at the lake around 645a and fished for about 1 1/2 hours just to get the monkey off my back. Water was cold and fish were not very active but yet it was early in the season. I ended up with 2 small LMB about 1.5lbs. Both of the fish were a little deeper about 8-12 feet just out of range of si Not bad for first day of the year. I usually shore fish because i do not have the time for up keep of my own boat, so once or twice a month i go out on my buddy's or cousins bass boat. I have been fishing this lake from the shore for about 20 years so im very comfortable with good Casitas.
95% of the time i Texas Rig, people always as why not C-Rig or DS and the reason is Texas Rig works for me, i catch fish and i like it haha.
