I have a quick tip that will help you hook more fish.
When fishing for bass during the late winter to early spring, I found that bass will tend to get more active as water temp's rise, This is a great time for swimbaits, but not just cast and reel, "no" these fish are finicky. They start feeding like kids learn to walk.. Slow and steady, I found that slow jiggin a bait close to the bottom will trigger them into biting more so than other presentations, I use variouse types of swimbaits, from 3 1/2 to 6 1/2' . But I dont fish it like a normal cast and retrieve approach, I cast and let it sink to the bottom, then jerk and like a walk the dog style retrieve just off the bottom. Trying to keep it just off the bottom and give the bait a slow action with lot's of movment.. Try using different wieght to make your bait have different action... I hope this will help you catch more fish...
