I'm looking a purchasing one of the two Shimano Crucial drop shot casting rods but not sure which one to get? The 6'6 or 7 foot.

I'm going to be putting a curado 200e on it.

What do you guys suggest would be the better of the two?

Thnx!

Go with the 7 ft. You have better casting distance and hook setting power.

I would have to agree with everyone else. I would go with the 7 ft rod.

I've convinced a few people to convert from 6'9'' to 7'2'' and they still thank me today.

7'2". Although I havent used the BC rod, the spinning 7'2" is sickly sensitive.

They don't make the 7'2 in casting, only 6'6 and 7'0.

I went down to Turners today in Reseda but they didn't have the rod.

Good Luck!
