2100421003Hit up D.V. this morning with the hopes of getting me a striper. The rain had cleared by the time we got to the lake. The shoreline had a few people chucking swimbaits. This guy asked me for some reel oil when we got to the marina, he was the same guy I saw land a nice striper from the shore...... good chet mang!!! Saw a couple big stripers chasing trout close to shore:EyePop: I was chucking L.A. sliders, 6" hudds, and the lunker punker for no love. Did manage to land 2 lmb and 1 smallie all on the dropshot in about 35' of water.

That's a quality lmb, good job on the smallie as well. Seems like the smb are really starting to show. Them stripers are stubborn sometimes but when you do hook up its well worth all the time invested..... Everyone seems to be to the left of the marina when fishing the shore, still some awsome spots from shore going towards the east dam....

Yeah Dvl is a great place to fish. Always seems to produce at least one fatty for the limit.
