Been watching the fish counts out of San Diego on the Yellows and
decided to head south. Left my place about 10:00pm and arrived at
Seaforth Sport Fishing just after midnight. Camped it in the parking
lot sleeping in my car until docking time 5:30am ....
Not much else to say guys but , FREEEEEESH ONEEEEE AND HOOOOOOKUPPPPP ....
Yellowtail fishing has been good - so get out there guys ...

weapon of the day , 2 speed reel with 40lb line set at 11lbs of drag on the Salas 6x jr

You know I forgot to mention these fish where running about 17 to 25lbs and are being caught
on the yo-yo iron, about 120 to 200 ft deep , just fast crank off the bottom, about half way
up if you don't get bit drop back down and wind again.
Fished aboard the Voyager out of Seaforth Sport Fishing and the Captain and crew where
excellent , these guys where coaching , removing tangled lines and right there to gaff the
fish when you seen or yelled color , couldn't have asked for more from the crew . They even
let us use the bunks to take a little ciesta . Good times indeed .........:LOL:
