YoYo for YELLOWS!!!

After hearing about the Malahini get limits of yellows on tuesday I had to get my yellow fix so I jumped on the Mission Belle out of Point Loma sportfishing wed morning. We left at 6 with 23 great anglers for the nados. Finally get to the islands and setup for our first drift over a school of yellows. First drop and 10 people were bent right away. From then on it was yoyo fishing at its best.... WFO... Fish were in 200 ft with most on the bottom. The yellows were all nice grade fish with most from 18-22 #'s and nothing under 15.... I ended up with limits and a few rockfish on the yoyo aswell. What a trip!!!! The boat and crew were great aswell. Captain is a fishkilla.... I found my new 3/4 day diego boat.:Cool:

Never cappo... Im looking for a saltiga 30T now.... I blew my high gear on the accurate after the seventh fish or so... Should of stuck with my saltigas only!!!

Awesome trip for sure! That's full speed 3/4 fishing! Epic! Glad you experienced the Belle. Nothing but good things to say about that boat. Captain Steve will find em' if they are there. Karen (deckie) handles the deck very well!

LoL i was thinking the same thing. Freakin 500 dollar reel and cant even handle a few yellows... I should of stuck with my Saltiga's!!!
