are there any squid in newport???

Hi everyone!
I am planing to head out for some giant squids. It will be my fist time for the squids fishing with Daveyslocker at Newport . so i just like to known that they are still out there or not ? Does anybody got any of them in last few day? any reply will be thank you very much.

we tried sunday night ,only boat out there didn't see anything on the graph ,boxed area of about 3 miles

fished the freelance yesterday they said they havent metered them in like a week

Thank you for all reply , I has been read many post from many site but sound like nobody got luck on last week. I think them all swim back to Haiti. .... and i missed them this year. Thank you again.

well good riddens dont get me wrong there fun tofight good to eat if cooked rite but for as long as i can remember ive been told they tear up all kinds of fish hopefully there gone
