went to hesperia lake yesterday, was tough out there but i manage to get one , and my son caught three. there were lots of lighting trout swimming around but only a couple would bite. there are way too many camerans out there , thats probualy where most of the fish go. all well we caught a couple and made the best of it.

Ghetto Fish. I heard they are supposed to stock 100 + sturgeon up there this month. When they stock them maybe we can make a sturgeon/duct run.

Hey GhettoDad that is always going to be a tough place to fish until they (Ed) can get the city to fork up some money to dredge that thing. I fished Hesperia back in the "Golden Era" when it was the only place everyone wanted to fish, now everyone has went on to better lakes. Anyways glad you had a good time.

Yeah, Hesperia has a lot to offer, but the water is kinda yucky. Someone who looked like he knew what he was talking about said the lake is no deeper than four feet anywhere. Is it just a concrete pool? I like fishing for cats and sturgeon in that lake, and have caught both, but I hear a lot of people say it should be dredged up and refilled.
