weather was cool, no wind, water level up

landed 2 striper on sardines at the buoy line 100 ft deep.

landed 2 fish, one nicer unit for my days efforts.

fish bit real light, barely felt the bites...
sharon nest, no fish
elizabeths canyon, no fish

GOOD JOB FTW,THE RAIN WONT MOVE THEM BUT THE BAIT WILL,I THINK MARZOOCHMAN BEEN WORKING DANS AREA UP NEAR THE ELIZABETH , THEY NEVER HAVE TO SAY JUST LET ME SEE A BACK GROUND AND I KNOW WHERE YOURE FISHING,THE SPRING SHOULD BRING SOME BIG AMOUNTS OF BIG UNITS,,,,,,,,,,,,,,t/o,,,,,,,,,,,,

I might have to set out the trollers soon. i found a great new color to try on the rigs. Big hammer "silver phantom". This looks like a killer. the booth at fred hall said they are sold out of 3" the first day of the show!!!

Could you post the weight of the fish and of the dog?

The big one was around 7 lbs, but looked bigger. I thought i had a 10 lbrer when he hit the deck. the dog weighs 19lbs, karin terrier.
might have been a legal size croaker!! ALMOST

No1... is that an old shimano baitcaster reel....the gold one...?

No2.....how did you birds nest a spinning reel.....?

LOL>>>The reel is a calyx 100a, not the bantam100 you are thinking about...this is like its modern day version. A great deal at 59'99!!
the birds nest was more like some twisted line spinning off a the reel, wasn't too bad. Looked worse than it was.
the dog helps me subdue the stripers and occasional kitty cats!! Gills are his favorite.
