I got invited to go to a 'special' spot with some friends on Saturday. Convinced the gf to go even with rain everywhere, bought some ponchos and headed out. Met up with the other peeps and started bass fishing. Wow! I almost didn't expect to get hit at all, due to the cold front, but they were still biting. Sure, these fish don't get a lot of pressure, but I'm used to bass having uber lockjaw during a front. Anyway, managed ot get three, farmed 4, all on plastics. Berkely Gulp dropshot or wacky-rigged. The other guys got quite a few on plastics too.
Lesson learned: Don't give up just because of the weather!

15 incher. Had some serious scars.
I love bass fishing, haha.
Oh, and props if anyone can guess where we were fishing at. It's not in the IE, more south of Diamond Bar/Rowland area. I'm not worried about poachers, which is another hint...:LOL:
