Just got back last night from a trip to seattle. It was my second time there and it’s a beautiful, BEAUTFUL place. Since I was away from home for valentines day my wife told me she had a surprise for me. She booked me a fishing trip for thursday with “All Star Fishing Charters” out in Pudget Sound, WOOO HOOOO! :Shocked:
Arrived at the docks an hour early and there wasn’t a soul in sight. The captain showed up a little after 6, confirmed I was a customer and he started loading up the boat. The other party showed up (1 guy) at 7 and it was onto the boat we go.:Cool:
The plan was to troll for “blackmouth” salmon and toll we did. And we trolled and we trolled and we trolled some more. After 4 hours of trolling with nothing to show not even a strike I think it was safe to say it wasn’t working, but we kept on trolling. I would have been happy jigging a spoon or trying something different but the captain said “trolling is the most effective way“.:Confused: A total of 6hrs on the water and I go these pix, no fish but it was a great time.

I have always loved Seattle.I came to the U.S when i was 17 in 06 to study and I lived in South Seattle for a few months before moving down to SoCal. I love everything in Seattle except for its rainy weather. Man, it rains all year long but i really enjoyed the fresh air and the "not-so-crowded-traffic" over there compared to L.A.Your pictures remind me the moment when i was so new to the country,homesick every night in the first month of living alone out there.Beautiful pictures.

I felt like I was being taken for a ride in the back of a cab going in circles and every few minutes the driver saying…over here…no, over here… maybe this is the way…
All in good times tho and I must admit the scenery filled the void of not getting on the fish. It was beatiful, and the air was so fresh and so clean.
