hi guys, just signed up with FNN just wanted to introduce my self..... well went and spent my lunch at santa fe today and bite was pretty slow. i worked the crap out of my crankbait and finally got hit with this little guy that was about it after that....I have been fishing the pudd and been skunked till now :Envious: was my 1st time at santa fe dont really know the spots i was fishing from the concrete shore west of the dam..... well let the fella lose and swam away then as i was walking around the shore i almost stepped on this pretty huge toad :Shocked: well if anyone can give me some pointers on fishing santa fe it will be greatly appreciated im a some what novice basser pm me if things are a secret well thanks in advance guys

Anyways nice job on the bass. =) Fishing during a storm usually produces for me.

Nice catch o shoot toads only try the swim area before dark when the life guards are not around.

^^thanks guys i hope to pull some big toads this year...... havnt had any luck at the pudd from shore but i have pulled a large bass from their once around a 9pounder at the northside of the pudd in the little creek area just saw a big fish in the water since water in that certain area is only about maybe 4 to 5 ft deep threw everything at em lures falling right on the fishes head finally got him in a plastic crawdad jig... just wanted to let people know their are big bass hiding at the pudd =)

Doesn't look like you need much help from us.
Fishing is tough around here. I'd be happy with a bass like that every time I went fishing. :Big Grin:

Nice bass, My friend and I went down to santa fe this morning arund 10:30 and wound up with a couple trout. If ur fishing for bass i've seen them all along the shore at the far end where the island is, they hide in the trees there. Good Luck.
