Sorry to hear this, Cat. I've been dealing with compromised vision for almost 3 years, and after a series of laserings and cataract surgery--I'm nearly back to normal/improved vision now. What a PITA, though--so I can appreciate your situation. Best of luck with the physical rehab after the procedure, sir.

What on earth did you do to tear tendons in your bicep?? Holy cow...OUCH, OUCH, OUCH!!! I'm a competitive swimmer and backstroke kicks my biceps' ***. All the best, much hope for a speedy recovery, and maybe you can hook up a miniature remote controlled boat to some line and bait for some fishing....I saw it on YouTube...I think it was on America's Funniest Home Videos. At least it gets ya fishing again!!!

Desert Cat, I just saw the post and I'm hoping you have a quick recovery and you can get back out to do some more fishing. I've enjoyed your posts to the point that I've convinced myself to give flathead fishing in the canals a try.
Get well soon and I'm looking forward to more of your posts.
