Pre Fishing Was Good At LMV 2/12/2010

Lake Mission Viejo 2/12/2010:

Called a couple of guys on Thursday to see if they wanted to go fishing on Friday? Simon was trying to decide on whether to fish Friday or Saturday. I have a 4-hour boat rental pass so Simon says I’ll go on Friday then. A trout tournament will be held on Saturday so today was a good day to pre-fish before the tourney. The bite was good and it didn’t matter what we used. I caught 4 fish on 3 different color lures. The fish are in deep water near the dam. It seems to takes forever for a mini jig to sink in deep water. A mini jig is not a lure I use often. It was tied on to see if the fish will bite on something different. 7 of our fish were caught on the powermouse in any color combo. We tried 4 different colors and they all were bit. Take your pick of colors and it will work. My friend lost a fish at the boat over 3lbs as it was barely hooked. I barely hooked a good fish and my friend was able to net it. It weighed 5.5lbs and it’s my biggest trout of the 2010 season. Everybody who fishes the tourney tomorrow should be able to catch fish. Here are the pics!!

Nice Catch but I didnt know I had a look alike from Mission Viejo and this guy could catch trout lolz.
