Im heading to Castaic 2/13 my ? what type of rig do you use to fish anchovies how big do cut them if youcut them at all?#2How well do rappalas work?#3whats a good depth to start looking.Thanks with any help new to striper fishing . :HOMETOWN:

I like to split shot or Carolina rig the bait. I usually like to cut my bait into 1.5" fillets with the guts and skin still intact. Some of the guys use chunks about the same size, but I haven't caught any of my fish on chunks yet. I have never tried Rapalas for stripers and I couldn't tell you if I think it would work unless you specify which Rapala lure. The depths that I like are around 60 to 90 ft deep.
