with a show of hands.. is anyone anxious of the upcoming event at the Vine this weekend??
I know I am.. wish i could attend all 3 days.. but for sure I'll be there on SAT...
so any heads up to look forward to?? thanks in advance.. gonna be a very interesting event.. wonder if any will top the 22.6lb record??? or how many will enter?

Im going Monday. Gonna be a nice weekend out there. My dad was out yesterday and his report to me was stained water, Low visability, lots of debris floating, Trolling wasnt good, but anglers fishing the ramp were killing it on the bait n wait.
Fish the ramp and im sure ya will be in the money.

I personally wouldn't as you know. Not much of a sport fishing 10 feet from where they stocked them in my eyes but your odds do increase at landing a prize . :LOL:
BTW Chris are we fishing in your boat Monday?

hmmmmmmmmmmmm... majority is Monday?? is this due to the lesser of people being there?? or waiting for the water to clear up?? or both?

For me the answer is less crowd. But i do beleive if ya want your best shot at qualifying for the Masters, it would be on Saturday. Looking back on the other tourneys it would be my best guess that 8 of the 10 qualifiers infact come from the first day of the tourney.

I'm gonna pre-fish it friday... Just hope the are stacked up at a spot where i think they are at.... See you guys Friday or Saturday....

i went there on Sat... and man I sucked eggs.. and i stink big time for the tourney.. out of all my fishing experience at Irvine.. that was the only one time i ever skunked..hahahha.. but man.. congratz to all the winners.. nice stuff.. but sunday looked better with the results. Well cant wait to see the result for monday. Keep up the great work Vine and keep them Fishie comin!!
will be there this sat again.. rain or shine..heheh

Results for Monday were the same old thing. 90% of money fish caught within 20 yards of the ramp. I still have no clue why they dont spread the stocking for tourneys. Owell it is what it is, If your after cash then fish the ramp... Simple as that

from what Jimmy told me is that they stocked the ramp because they couldnt get the stocking truck to the back due to the jacked up road. I saw a few guys baiting and waiting in Boat Dock Cove dump a few big fish due to SMALL nets. I'm sure they will keep stocking the back once the can get the truck back up there.
