Until the lake lice take over. Pyramid is the worst lake to fish do to Jet Skiers who are drunk have free run of the lake and Drunk Motor Boats that seem to think its more fun when they are 50 feet from shore. Then when they need a nap do to drinking so much so early they will literally park on top of you and start swimming right in front of where your are fishing. The lake cops also are WAY more strict with the fisherman then they are with the boaters. Pyramid lake in general just hates fisherman.

I have nearly gotten into a dozen fights there and the only thing that saves me is the fact that I'm usually standing on a pile of rocks bigger then my fist. You cant reason with these thugs who come down from the city to Pyramid soley to raise hell. You know Pyramid is a national park now and do to the new law it is perfectly legal to bring a gun with you into the park even if you have no intentions of hunting. So make sure you ether bring a gun or a bullet proof vest.

How many mud bricks were used to build the walls within the average Egyptian pyramid? I know they used 2.3 million blocks (1.5 tons each) of limestone for the pyramid core. So probably the number of mud bricks is around that number but I want to be sure...thanks for reading and I appreciate any help.

Interesting first post.

I believe that in the 3rd and 4th dynasties, most pyramids in Egypt used locally quarried limestone as the material of choice.

Only in the Middle Kingdom and onward were pyramids made with mud brick encased in polished limestone. Because of the varying sizes of these, I don't think getting the actual numbers is possible, unless you have data on specific pyramids.
