Does anyone know how far it is miles wise to the oil rigs from there. Ive never launched from there. Ive only launched from newport and i believe its 12 miles from there. I usually fish San Diego but i would like some options that are close to my dads in the City of Orange. That way i dont always have to drive from Riverside. Thanks in advance.

The rig right outside the harbor is less then a mile, the rigs to the left (by HB pier) are only about 12 minutes from the mouth of the harbor. I dont know in miles just minutes lol sorry. Unless your talking about the tri-rigs that are half way between land and catalina those are about 13 miles off the mouth. Great fishing at all of them so let us know how you do.

No problem, those rigs are always great producers for bass fo sho.
