Are there any crappie fishermen out there that can tell me some places to go after crappies? I figure most big lakes have them, but I haven't seen any reports of anglers targeting this particular fish. I was going to try Castaic and maybe Elizabeth Lake, but I am just not that familiar with this species (though I would like to be!).

Any info would be helpful, since I am new here.

I will PM you in a little bit. Fishbones tells everyone to PM me about the Lagoon, lmao.

Theres a bunch at Lake Elsinore, either gotta have a boat or go to the RV park and fish the cove there. Mini jigs work best for me I use mostly dark colors jigs.

By the sounds of it and some of the suggestions on places, it appears I really will have to chase Mr. Crappie! I'm going to have to either get up REAL early or try the evening bite on these lakes, since I live in Culver City!

Oh well, daylight savings time is a mere two months away...
