Went for an hour to see if the butts were still hangin around one of my spots. Water was smooth, fairly clean so I threw the kroc up and down the beach. One came off but landed this short, 21 incher. I actually saw it chase the kroc and nail it about 20 feet from me ! Saw the beans again so next time I'm going to target them with my real light stuff. :)

Yes Hitts, I release everything, even legals. It was cool, I see a cloud of sand and this butt streaking toward the kroc and bam! he's on! Wish the beans were that aggressive. :lol:

Nice job on the butt, that area can produce some beauties. Those beans in there seem to be very skittish, too many swimmers sometimes. Hope you get one. 187

Thanks for the report, that really must have been cool to watch, I have never seen them chasing bait or lures, way cool 8)

Sansou, Yes, I caught one last week on the morf and also a 3 foot leo. I have better luck throwing the kroc or lc for the butts.
