Steve and I decided to hit up NPH on foot today to get him some "Stress Relief" after the past few weeks of weather have taken their toll on him. So we made some mention of the trip a few days ago and I gave him a jingle this morning to ask what he was doing and he was getting his stuff ready for NPH. So I got permission from my better half (Thank you hun, I know I been out fishing alot) and hit the road. I let John know we were on our way since he is the latest to come down with "Spotted Fever". Steve and I arrived about 1200 and suited up and started fishing at 1230.

Here is how it's down my student!

Steve put the first fish on the board not long after that, I did not get a pic of it. We worked the same area for two hours with out covering alot of ground for nothing more than many missed hits! Then John met up with us about 1430 and we made a move on a hunch from Steve.

Good Call Steve on the move! I was now on the board!

We kept working and I got another.

Whooo Hooo, I am one fish up now!

John decided he wanted his name on the board too. (does he look tired? He should be after being out hooping with the "Hesbros" until 0200 in the morning!)

I think I got another in here somewhere that put me up to 3, Steve 1, and John 1.

Then Steve and I got a double!

The sun was down and we made another move and all hell broke out (At least for Steve)

Nice one!

Another Nice one! "Check him out, looking at the fish and thinking "I bet Eddie wished he caught you")

And Another!
http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm172/ehesbol/IMG_2010.jpg

Are you tied of Steve yet? I was! At least in this battle of the Bay!
http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm172/ehesbol/IMG_2011.jpg

I finally put another fish on!
http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm172/ehesbol/IMG_2012.jpg

Oh what about John? Well John was busy fighting big fish on 4lb! He had a couple nice ones that won the battle! You will get em next time!

We called it a night at 1800!

Steve one the battle by one fish! I think the numbers were like this!
Steve 6 (Swimmies and the D/S, more on swimmies)
Eddie 5 (Texas Rig)

It was great to fish with you again Steve, we dont get out together as often as we used to!
John, we will get out there again soon!

BTW We hooped last night for 20 legal lobbys for three of us! Thanks for the hard work John!

Late,
Eddie

Another awesome outing gentlemen. You guys are all suffering from a serious case of Spotted Fever while I'm still trying to get over my bout with Halibutaritis.

Steve and Eddie, it was nice fishing with you guys. I should of just set my 4lb rig down and took over as camera man:Rolls Eyes:. I gave it my best though. Most of the docks were nearly laying on the sand, alot of them were high and dry and 4lb test is no match for Spotties pulling drag and trying to get back to cover. The fishing really picked up just before and during dead low tide. I think a respool with 6lb on another reel would be ideal for the situation yesterday.

Eddie, thanks again for the bug trip. Besides all the bugs it was great to c&r all those bass to pass the time while the nets were soaking.

It has cleared up alot since the last time we hit it. Yesterday was almost too clear for our intentions.

Eddie and John,

I had fun last evening with you 2. It was a well needed break to get my mind off all the other things going on.

Here is Eddie in a precarious situation that you can only get into on a very low tide!

Steve, it's good to know that there's someone out there that can give Eddie a run for his money. WTG :Thumbs Up:

Eddie, your technique has been killin them out there lately. Too bad it doesn't work for me. Too many missed hookups and farmed fish :Farmer: The only fish I hooked up with using the technique was a croaker. :Rolls Eyes:

John, I know how you feel. Tess made me feel like that the other night. :Surprised:
Congrats on beating the :Skunk:. Using 4lb must be a real challenge.

It's not so bad when the tide isnt so low and the docks have more water underneath them.
That day wasn't the case though. Dead low -tide
