Went squid fishing with some friends on Saturday. We took the Clemente out of Dana Wharf Sportfishing. I have been on several of these trips before, but I was extremely impressed with this crew. The deckhands did a great job of keeping the deck clean and clear of squid and they were always right there to gaff when they were needed. The captain kept all the fisherman aware of the depth at which the squid were holding at all times.
The squid action was consistent and everyone boated what they wanted before we headed in. The boat left at 5:30pm and all squid were cleaned and we were docked at 9:45pm. It is a great trip to bring kids on to get them excited about fishing.
