Cooks hooks is at the vine. Been here since 6:15 and haven't had a bite yet. A guy next to me just caught a 12 pound trout on power bait. I'm fishing from the west shore. Hopefully I hook up soon. I'll let you'll know. See ya

Good luck ...try a crappie jig with the skirt removed then a big ol chunk of powerbait ..cast..let sink..then slow wind or twitch it like a jig.....fishbones

Don't worry, you'll hook up! If you don't get good action in that amount of time...MOVE and/or change bait, leader lenght etc. When in doubt, change it up!
